State Farm sells insurance. They also have a promotion for the upcoming All Star Game, which will be held in YANKEE STADIUM.
The promotion is a sweepstakes whose winner will get to visit New York, do some sightseeing, and attend said All Star Game, which will be held in YANKEE STADIUM.
At the All Star Game, which will be held in YANKEE STADIUM, there will be a home run derby, which will also be held in YANKEE STADIUM.
At said home run derby, which will be held at YANKEE STADIUM, the winner will get to tell a specific player where to hit a home run.
The player advertised is... David Ortiz of the BOSTON RED SOX.
Explain to me how this can be allowed to happen. Forget the fact that I'm a Yankee fan. Imagine if the game was being played in San Fransisco, and the advertised player was Russell Martin. Or if the game was in Atlanta and the featured player was David Wright. It's utterly ludicrous that a promotion should feature a player in a rival ballpark, especially when the rivalry is of the magnitude of Yankees-Red Sox.
I personally have entered the sweepstakes, in the hopes that the magical baseball gods bless me with victory, in which case I will respectfully tell Ortiz to pop one up to the catcher. I urge all Yankee fans to enter the sweepstakes here and do the same.

1 blithering retorts:
I would tell him to hit a line drive off Manny Being a Retard's head. Respectfully, of course.
